通常は黄緑色に育つはずの白ブドウ品種「イタリア」は、不思議と毎年少量の身だけが赤く、独特の芳香を帯びて育ちます。

そのような「赤いイタリア」の個性がマスター蒸留家Johnny氏の厳格な基準をクリアし、かつ収穫高が十分な年のみ、頻度としては2~3年に一度、ごく少量だけ製造される幻のピスコポルトンです。

白く育つ通常の「イタリア」、またはその他のブドウ品種と比較してお楽しみいただければ幸いです。

The Italia Rosada (Pink Italia) grape is a variation of the Italia, but with very beautiful and complex aromas.
In our case, we have a small plot of land planted with Italia Rosada. So production is very small. Normally, this grape will be blended with the Italia for Pisco Italia. But some years, this grape produces an absolutely impressive and aromatic Pisco. Exceptional! Delicious! Wonderful structure in the nose. Really exceptional, and this does not happen every year. It can be the sun. It can be climate. It can be nature. But in the 10 years we are producing our own grapes of Italia Rosada, I only bottled this pisco as Rosa del Peru, three times: 2014, 2016 and 2018. This year I am not convinced yet ...
So as you can appreciate, it is a very small production pisco, only the year I consider it to absolutely sublime.
